Caramelized Green Beans and New Potatoes

1 large can green beans, undrained

several new potatoes, boiled and chopped small

Large spoonful of margarine

1 tsp Grandma’s Molasses

Stir all together in large pot.

Cook over medium heat until all liquid has evaporated and beans are just starting to stick.

Watch it closely at the end, it will start to burn quickly after beans start sticking.

Sautéed Squash

2 yellow squash, peeled and sliced thin

1/2 to 1 cup frozen onions/peppers

Large spoon of margarine.

Melt margarine in large skillet.

Add peppers and onions.

Add squash.

Cover and simmer on low until tender, stirring often.

Salt and pepper to taste.
